Research has shown that between a quarter and a third of the volume in the average home is tucked away under the roof. Some of this space may be used for storage, but it could be turned into valuable extra living space. Rooms in the roof can provide attractive internal spaces ideal for extra bedrooms, bathrooms, studies, home offices, playrooms or even leisure rooms. Compared to building an extension, converting the roof space is usually straightforward and involves far less red tape, and an added bonus with loft conversions is that the garden is not sacrificed for the extra space. In order to provide you with the additional rooms you require without the cost and upheaval of moving house, careful consideration will be given at design stage to ensure that all your needs are catered for. Your Loft & Roof Conversion will enhance the value and character of your property and give you some of the most attractive living areas in your home. Generally our conversions come within two categories, first is the typical loft conversion to house or bungalow which can be converted with either dormers or Velux roof windows added to your existing attic, or in situations where the existing roof is to low we have the option of a Roof Conversion where (subject to approval) the existing roof could be removed and replaced with a new roof designed and constructed to a higher pitch therefore creating a larger space. We can offer the full package on both conversions or an option which may suit the DIY enthusiast where we carry out all the main structural elements and external finishing allowing you the freedom to complete the interior work yourself. So, there are packages to suit most budgets.
